Contact lenses, and getting them

What we supply, how it arrives, and what it costs to keep wearing.

The fitting is in the lane and the supply is here. Daily disposables cost the most per day and go wrong the least; monthly lenses cost less and ask more of you. The lenses are ordered against a current contact lens prescription, which is a separate thing from a spectacle prescription and expires sooner.

What this includes

  • Daily, fortnightly and monthly soft lenses
  • Toric lenses where there is astigmatism, and multifocal lenses for near work
  • Ordering in the quantity you actually use rather than the quantity that discounts best
  • Delivery to the practice or to your door, usually within a few days
  • A yearly check, which is the condition of continuing to supply

What this is not

  • We will not supply against an expired prescription without seeing the eye
  • Coloured lenses without a prescription are still medical devices and still need a fitting
