Getting to Woodside Eye Care
37-20 61st Str, Woodside, NY 11377.
By train, bus or on foot
- Four minutes on foot from the 61st Street - Woodside station, which is the elevated line and the commuter railroad in one building
- The bus along Roosevelt Avenue stops a block away, and the bus down 61st Street stops at the corner
- Metered parking on 61st Street and free parking on the side streets after six in the evening
- The door is level with the pavement and the frame room, the lanes and the lavatory are all on the ground floor
Wednesday runs late for people who cannot take a morning off, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week, so a Saturday appointment is usually made a fortnight ahead. The frame room is open the whole time the practice is, and you do not need an appointment to look.
The entrance is level with the pavement, with no step and no lip.
Ready when you are
Ring to book an eye examination, or come in and browse the frame room — no appointment needed to look.
