The front of the gunmetal stainless steel aviator frame, photographed straight on against pale grey stone.

Foundry No. 9

Nyle

A double bridge and a dropped lower edge, glazed clear.

  • From $215, frame only
  • 142 mm across the front

The aviator shape as an optical frame rather than a sunglass, in springy stainless steel. The dropped lower edge means a lot of lens below the pupil, which is exactly what a varifocal wants and exactly what a small round frame cannot give it. Needs some width of face to sit on.

From$215

Frame only — lenses and coatings are priced separately.

No cart, no checkout, on purpose. This is a catalogue and not a shop. There is nothing to add to a basket and no checkout, because nobody should buy spectacles without a current prescription and a face measurement. Everything here can be looked at on the wall without an appointment.
