Translucent honey acetate that lets the light through the rim.
A small round frame in transparent amber, with a wide keyhole bridge that keeps it off the cheeks. The translucent acetate takes the colour of whatever is behind it, so it disappears on the face in a way an opaque frame of the same size does not. Too shallow in the lens for a long varifocal.
